Soooo I bought a Prius yesterday! I'm VERY excited. Well, by bought I should say lease, but as of now I do plan on buying it out at the end of the 3 years, and I wanted to keep my monthly payments as low as possible for the time being. Plus, it made it so I could get the 2010 Prius, which has a wayyyy better interior (and slightly better exterior) than the previous models. So now we will save lots of money on the 4,000 mile trip cross country and I won't have to worry about making a down payment once I've already paid all of the money for the move. Also important- it came with a free iPad. Well, a gift card to the Apple Store for $525 so I can buy the iPad or whatever else I want. So awesome. Now I just have to put my bumper sticker of a girl riding a wave on it and I'll be all set.
Yesterday was a good day even without the fact that I got a new car. Cameron came home from Richmond to hang out a little before Zach and I left. He plans on being back this weekend, which is good since I didn't even get to say bye to him at the restaurant because the car buying took SO long. But it was very nice of him to come up. Also I went to Hooters with a bunch of the people from my work as a "goodbye" dinner. Most of the people I will see again at work, but not Daniel and Luis, so that was really sad. After dinner we went to see Inception which was pretty good, but not as amazing as everyone tried to hype it up to be. The worst part was the movie theater was FREEZING. Like, Isabella, Zach and I had a blanket on ourselves (def would have left if Katie didn't have a blanket in her trunk) and I was still incredibly cold. But Sarah got us in for free so it was all worth it.
Mitchell, one of my uncles, was talking to my mom the other day and said he thinks he could get me a job in a studio or a law office, so that was a real relief. Jobs seem extremely hard to come by, so even if the studios don't pay well it will be something really fun that will provide income until something more stable comes along. I'm really excited just by the idea of it because that would be such a cool experience. Besides that I'll probably keep serving, or maybe even work in a hotel, for extra income. It would be amazing if I could start saving money again after this movie, not just scrape by.
Tomorrow is another going away dinner, this time with the guys and Kristen. She was very nice and planned the whole thing. Should be very fun and emotional at the same time. Looking forward to it.
